How many times must our hearts’ break
How long must we endure this heart ache
How long before we can accept our King is gone
How can we find the strength to carry on?
Why did you have to leave
Why didn’t you tell the angels no
Why did you have to go
In my mind you are still here
You’re so far away
Yet you seem so near
You were the one who pulled us through
How do we get by without you
How is it that all our tears are now for you
How will we ever get over losing you
We long to be with you
But we know that is the last thing you want us to do
Why do my eyes weep
When I’m not even crying
Is my mind accepting or lying
How do I keep from dying
