An Email We Received From A Fan Named 'Asandra' In Romania

Dear BONNIE,

I found your site few weeks ago, I can tell you that from that day I look here more times every day. You really are doing a wonderful job, and I'm reffering especially to the fact that we have news about him four times a day, in fact more times every day, and all those news are first filtred through your opened minds and loving hearts, you who knew him better for a long time, as normally between friends.

The top from all the ideas of us having a role and doing something useful for him, I beleave is Jules' idea about buying THRILLER on his birthday and contribute this way in being for ever the best selling album of all times. We must think as taking part to that history he began for us, and think with our hearts, and also as being part of our family.

We need to think a lot, in or souls, and have choises for a lifetime, as definitely as we do when choosing our life parteners. And what we choose should be for a lifetime.

While talking how to celebrate his birthday as of wonderful person, very close to each other; I mean, we all could find ways to remember him not only by listening his music and do charity in his name. His words, coming from a human not a divinity, realy opened us, the ones in the mirror, his words came to that point of our conscience when we became able to lift ourselves and understand the force of taking part.

But if in an spiritual level will be a countdown, let’s recognize that his way of being helped a lot in not being afraid to offer more. His personality did more than politicians, school, contests, juries and law. Nowadays we have customs of consuming, forgetting our spirit in the way of accumulating more… Let’s recognize that his disappearance made us questioning again and again, more days and more to come, if we are on the right way.

Common, let’s think. Not necessarily speaking with somebody, but in our heart.

His energy… what can today inspire more? Look at him in concert and say nothing is moving inside you, even you’re a girl or a boy! It is the impersonation of the idea of giving it all, and this means nothing sexual.

His messages… what can be closer to every human need? Lift yourself, start with the man in the mirror, you can change the world, I can’t do it by myself.

His voice… try to sing parts of that harmony and recognize that this level is exceptional!

His ambition… don’t you identify yourself with the teenager who works restless to create and tries to do his best? Don’t you see youself, remember how you were when having a competiton, a price to win?

His generosity… what human being was more unselfish? To donate all the benefits from so many concerts, to raise music and dance and entertainment to an unbeleavable level, so those who saw you live have a footprint in the deepest level of admiration.

And on youtube there are 859,000 videos about him today, and this number is growing everyday. Oh, that really means that he moves those hearts. Tell me about something similar.

I will try later to tell you the story about how much your site helped me to see the truth about all these days, and how grateful I am for this is happening. I AM READING MORE TIMES A DAY FROM YOU EVERY DAY, and I keep telling all to my friends everyday.

For the beginning, I put here the message I sent few minutes ago on Petition Spot.

I honnestly apreciate your initative of going on for his nomination. I was so sad when I saw that he may not be eligible… But now it’s OK, we are together for MJ.

If you have few minutes, I'd like to give you some ideas about what we all, who are loving him, to do for this purpose.

Please excuse me if my English isn’t perfect, I’m not currently speaking it and not even with my friends.

First of all, we should be unite. We should subscribe on only one petition, not more, because divided we will not be taken seriously. So please, speak with the others who started similar causes for MJ, if they really go for the prize, we must have all the signature s together. The judge will not count extra votes, even for the same idea, just like in politics.

Second, I think we should have a deadline. Even if it’s early yet, our goal is not to sign up to 100,000, but to convince that jury that he is the best to have the price. Not only between the other nominated, but to an absolute level. So we’ll have a lot to do after we have all the signatures.

Third it’s the importance of putting the real name when signing, because I beleave if they start judgeing after seeing a list, what will they think after seeing a list with 10% fictional names? They will be sure we invented those names and we are not serious. But we are and we speak from our hearts, so that is what they have to see. So please, my advice for everyone who signed as a strange name is:

PUT HERE YOUR REAL NAME, AGE, COUNTRY, OCUPATION, AND A DEEP-HEART THOUGHT ABOUT HOW HE INSPIRED YOU OR WHY HE DESERVES NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. They will see that we are not just mourning fans, maybe they see us as as brain-washed or desperate or too young or ... We are normally people, on every age, socially active, from all over the world and we understand to transmit our love for him in this way: his constant generousity to be recognized as it should be.

About that subject, I have few questions for you. You say in intro that you tried twice before to nominate him. We must learn from those experiences, so please if it’s possible explain me what went wrong and why they said no. I’ll come back for these questions. And what said the two winners who were so kind to answer. I’m sure they knew him and also had deeply appreciation.

Because I hope we will speak a lot since now, and not only for helping MJ’s memory, I’ll add only one more point on this message.

Four: More from all, we must speak with our friends who haven’t signed. Think a little about how many people you met personally with sadness after his passing: old fans, new ones, those who saw him in concerts, kids trying to imitate, sellers, DJ, people about his age, singers, neighbours, and the list can go on.

SPEAK TO EVERYONE. WE ALL HAD THE PRIVILEDGE THAT HE IS A PART OF OUR LIVES, NO MATTER WHERE WE LIVE. When will be possible again in our live to say it again about somebody else?
