Beat it!
I’ve seen the illusions
So many delusions
They’re everywhere
All around me
Everywhere I go
In everything I see
It could even be anywhere you’ll be
Don’t you feel cornered?
I do, by all these illusions
They are such a confusion
That gives me delusions
Beyond my years
I seek redemption
For this reception
The air around me is stale
It’s driving me wild
It’s sailing me through and now I see the stars of doom
It’s digging me in
Then, I remember these words
“Relax, breathe
Everything will be alright”
Do you remember those words?
Those healing words
From a beautiful soul
Or souls times all
Now I feel I can go on
And not rush back
To such crap
I need some change
I know I can do it
But I feel so alone
Do you?
So let’s work together
Never again!
The fear has past
I don’t even need to beat it!
It gone and done for
Now I can relax my aching mind
And feel what I feel
And feed my soul
With everlasting rhythm and blues
The blues are gone but the rhythm remains
With a little pop to top it off
I don’t need to beat it!
Cause I finally beat it!
It’s done and I feel good
As good as good can be
Can you do the same?
Can you be one and all?
If he could, couldn’t you?
So, let’s work together to beat it all!
