Many know me as the music guy. Wether it be for my own music or for the 80s music website that I run ( www.80sInYourFace.com ) Well, after the breaking news of the death of Michael Jackson I updated my 80s website. I am offering a free mp3 download of a Michael Jackson megamix and created a new section where MJ fans can write and share their memories and stories on site. However, I wanted to do something more. So I took it to the streets of Lawrence, MA. I have a 24X36 poster of Michael from the "BAD" album era.
I bought a frame and framed it then I walked around the city asking people to sign the poster. I cant even tell you how many signatures it has right now, its overwhelming the amount of love and support fans have for MJ. Even the back of the frame has been signed. There is a reason I am doing this, not just so fans can feel connected to Michael by signing this poster, but I have contact with his sister LaToya Jackson and I will be sending this framed poster to her in July. Its a gift to her from the fans of Lawrence, MA. I dont know if anyone else is doing such a thing, but I have been hugged so many times telling me thank you for what I am doing. Its very touching. I have cried and cried but I feel like I am doing something good and the fans make me believe that as well.
