CNN Denies Catching MJ's Ghost On Camera

The sheer volume of coverage surrounding Michael Jackson's untimely death has reached such a solid density that you can actually take a hammer to it (and believe me, I've tried).
The man's death was tragic and newsworthy, and the recent memorial was also deserving of some extreme attention, but some of the bits and pieces almost scream for the story to stick around. Mark my words, Michael Jackson will replace Jesus and the Virgin Mary as the holy face that some yahoo will see in their morning batch of French toast.
One of those stories reached such a fever pitch that the network that spawned it tried to put a stop to it. An overly vigilant CNN viewer spotted a shadowy figure walking across the camera during Larry King's visit to Neverland Ranch. The video found its way to YouTube where it garnered over 4 million hits and sparked a wave of news coverage not seen since, well, Michael Jackson's death.
Since the footage was taken from Neverland Ranch and Michael has just died,
fans across the world insisted that this figure must have been the King of Pop's soul roaming the halls of the hallowed grounds he once called home.
Larry King Live producer David Theall took to the airwaves this week and explained that the shadowy figure was either from another camera crew or a member of his own staff walking in front of a lighting fixture. He also said neither he, Mr. King, or any other crew or staff member felt or saw any presence of a ghost roaming the property, not counting Larry King himself, of course.
I love how so many fans of the late MJ not only insisted that this was a ghost, but that it must have been Michael Jackson's ghost. I finally understand why so many people still claim they spotted Elvis at the local swap meet or the bait shop off the frontage road or in that old folks home in Nacogdoches. It turns out crystal meth wasn't to blame after all (well, maybe it was an accessory after the fact, but not the sole contributor).
