Details On The Death Of Michael Jackson, Aaliyah.

How To Celebrate Their Lives

We are in mourning as we say good bye to some of our great entertainers. This is the eighth anniversary of the death of Aaliyah, whose life was cut short by a tragic plane crash in the Bahamas. The final moments of Michael Jackson's life is still a mystery, with new revelations coming out every day.

The Los Angeles County Coroner has now declared MJ's death a homicide. Michael was being treated for severe insomnia with Propofol. At the time of his death Michael had lethal amounts of Propofol in his system. Conrad Murray, the man MJ referred to as his personal physician told detectives that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for about six weeks. Jackson was being given 50 milligrams of propofol every night using an intravenous drip.

If you want to get out and about to celebrate the music and life of Michael Jackson you have a few options.

Grab the family and head to the California State Fair in Sacramento, which is currently underway. It is a bit of a drive but you will be able to enjoy rides that used to be a part of Jackson's private Neverland Ranch.

The fairs carnival operator, Butler Amusements, will have three foremer Neverland Ranch rides set up. 'The Balloon Samba' is a family ride that simulates a ride in a hot air balloon. 'The Jeeps' let kids cruise in mini-jeeps and move is a 360 degree rotation. 'The Wave Swinger' will also be set up and is a traditional swing ride that takes you 40 feet into the air for a leisurely ride.

The fair runs through September 7.

If you are looking for a bit of late night fun head out to Slim's in San Francisco September 11. 'Neverland: a tribute to the King of Pop' will be paying tribute to MJ. 'Neverland: a tribute to the King of Pop' is a 15-piece band, including three lead vocalists, four horns, and a six piece rhythm section. This band puts on an incredible show!

They cover all of the classic MJ tunes including 'ABC,' 'Rock With You,' and 'Thriller.' Instead of attempting to mimic MJ's unique vocals 'Neverland: a tribute to the King of Pop' put their own spin on the tunes and honor the spirit of the music. Tickets for the 9p.m. show are $18.
