Judge Approves Distribution Of 'Smile' (Memorial Version)
A judge granted Michael Jackson's estate a request to enter into an agreement with Apple to distribute Jermaine Jackson's version of 'Smile' from the memorial service on its popular music downloading service.
The agreement calls for both the audio and video of the performance to be sold. Documents didn't state how much the deal is worth.
Jermaine Jackson said the song, initially written by actor Charlie Chaplin, was Michael's favorite. He performed the number as a tribute to his brother.
