Just a little bit of you

Just a little bit of you

Just a bit of you is not enough

Just a bit of this is far from over

Just this makes me boil

I need more than this

I need more of you

Once upon a time, my world was whirling

It was a happy spin that I indulged in

Once upon a time, my world was rocking

A perilous sway that made me dazzle at its marvel

Once upon a time, my world had sunshine

A gleam that made me beam with glee

One upon a time, my life had music

A tune that healed me through my sorrowful days

One upon a time, my life had you

A bit of you that surrounded me throughout the years

One upon a time, my life had heaven

A bed of roses with bits and pieces of thorns

But it didn’t matter, for I had a bit of you

That’s all the mattered, something of you for awhile

A sign in a world of strangers; a world of gusts and masts

But now you off, and I am alone

A part of me has healed; a part of me has died

A part of me has started anew; another part of me has stayed behind

Sometimes I wish upon a wish, but a wish is just a wish

It made me see that I need to hold on to what I have and just believe

I will find change and change will find me

One day I shall find you; one day we will find each other

One day in your life makes me complete

For now farewell my summer shine

A brand new day will come again

I won’t hide in the closet no more

I will be safe for now I shine
