MJ Still King Of Album Charts

For the seventh week running, "The Essential Michael Jackson" has taken the top spot on the U.K. album chart. Also in the top 10 in the U.K. was Michael Jackson’s ‘BAD’ album, coming in at number 9.

On the European album charts, Michael Jackson secured 4 top 10 albums; at number 1 is ‘The Collection, and 2 is ‘King of Pop’ (German Edition), 4 is ‘The Essential’ and 9 is ‘Number Ones.’

In Germany, ‘King of Pop’ (German Edition), took the top spot on the German albums chart, with ‘The Collection’ coming in at number 2 and ‘Number Ones’ at number 4.

In the United States, Michael Jackson secured 9 of 10 spots on Billboard’s Top Catalog Albums for the week ending August 22, 2009.
