Michael Jackson Film Approved by Judge

A Los Angeles judge reportedly approved a major movie deal Monday morning, featuring the footage of Michael Jackson's final rehearsals for his planned London comeback tour, titled "This is It."

The deal was made between Michael's estate, the tour's concert promoter AEG Live and Columbia Pictures, the Associated Press reports.

Katherine Jackson, mother to Michael and guardian over his three children, was allowed by the judge to look over the contract and make objections, according to AP. The judge also ruled that Katherine must adhere to all confidentiality clause's in the AEG contract.

In addition to the rehearsal footage, the film may include videos created for Michael's concerts. The King of Pop passed away on June 25. He was 50.
