Michael Jackson To Perform?
LONDON, England (AP) -- Though organizers have said Michael Jackson will perform "Thriller" from his famed 1982 album in a rare public appearance at the World Music Awards next week, word is bubbling that he may do a different '80s song: "We Are the World."
According to "Access Hollywood," negotiations as to what Jackson will perform are ongoing.
Jackson last performed in Britain in 1997. The 48-year-old reclusive pop star will receive the Diamond Award, given to artists who sell more than 100 million albums.
Previous recipients include Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. The annual show business awards select winners based on the strength of their worldwide record sales.
Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to host this year's event, which will include performances by Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Katie Melua and Andrea Bocelli.
Jackson has spent time in Bahrain and Ireland since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in June 2005, making few public appearances.
"Thriller" won eight Grammy Awards and became one of the best-sellers of all time, selling over 50 million copies. Along with the title track, the album includes "Billie Jean" and "Beat It."
This year's show will be held November 15 at London's Earls Court Arena.

I sent all those press clippings to Raymone this morning and she said to tell the fans its not true. I sent her over the Thriller performance clippings and the End Scene of the Thriller Performance clippings and she said.. "Please tell the fans this is not true" Im not sure which part is true or not true.. but all this is still speculation as she will not confirm anything at this time.
Thank you Gail Felix for this! ;-)
