Motown is giving some of the biggest names in hip-hop one last chance to collaborate with the King of Pop.
Universal Motown has commissioned remixers like the Neptunes, Stargate, Dallas Austin, Polow Da Don, Salaam Remi, and more for the project.
According to AHN, "Michael Jackson: Remix Suite 1" will feature over 20 brand new remixes of Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 material.
The project will include the Neptunes take on the J5 ballad "Never Can Say Goodbye;" Polow Da Don, who recently produced hits "Forever" for Chris Brown and "Turnin' Me On" for Keri Hilson, produced a remix of "Dancing Machine;" Dallas Austin, who is best known for his collaborations with TLC, Pink, and Sugababes, remixes "I Wanna Be Where You Are;" while Rihanna-collaborator Stargate remixes "Skywriter;" and Salaam Remi, who worked with Nas, Fugees and most recently Amy Winehouse, will remix "ABC" with a reggae feel.
There is currently no word yet on when Universal Motown plans to release the remix project.
