Hold Me Tight

As I gaze out my window at the stars

I really do wonder how you really are

Are you happy and at peace

Has your pain stopped did it finally cease

As you tried to teach to those of us left below

Will we fulfill your wish of love

Can we make it grow

Will you dance with me in my dreams at night

Will you hold me when I'm troubled

Will you makes things seem alright

In your ever so passionate and loving embrace

Will you sing with me to our god

In his heavenly grace

You sent us so many messages of love

Trying to make it bloom

In our hearts could we ever find the room

You loved so much it extinguished your very existence

We can only now reflect from a distance

When we dance to your music

What do we hear only the beat

Watching so closely our eyes upon your feet

What we should of been feeling

Was your need of healing

Or do we hear and feel the pain and fear

That followed you through life always near

The smile on your face all troubles hidden

Of the potholes you hit on the road of life

The rides you must have ridden

But to all of us you showed nothing but joy

Of a once very happy and jubilant little boy
