"Castle In The Clouds"

For it is now that the shadows of yesterday pass
And in our timelessness eternal
Two souls caught the wave to the sea.
We are each other's company
Where the external becomes the internal
Our destiny.

The hidden caverns of our spirits will be silent.
For no living being will understand
What we meant to each other.
There will never be another,
To come full circle to where we began
Just me and her.

And now we stand together in our space.
Chasing the dream that made us whole.
You've come home to fill my heart's desire.
There in burns an inner fire
Our visions play a role
Sent higher.

You follow my oceans deep and rivers wide.
Where we once built our castles on shifting sands.
For this day will not be our last farewell, my friend.
We'll meet on the crimson shore again,
To depart for distant lands
At our end.

No my dearest, mere Death will not part us.
It's not what's been lost, but what's been gained.
Our boundless joy will be ignited,
As we follow the Light to be guided.
We'll leave behind the rain
Where all wrongs will be righted.

Now we sing a new song of jubilation.
Where divine waters take the place of raging seas.
No more mysteries to shroud
To praise and sing aloud.
Our castle awaits for you and me,
Up among the clouds.

In memory of Elizabeth Taylor, Michael's dearest friend.
