Ryan White's Mother Remembers MJ

Jeanne White-Ginder, mother of AIDS victim Ryan White who passed away back in 1990, recalls how Michael Jackson stayed in touch with her over the years.

Jackson and White became friends during the teenager's very public battle with AIDS and  then later Jackson attended his funeral. Ryan's mother says that during their friendship, she and Ryan often stayed at Jackson's Neverland Ranch and that she and her family later visited Jackson several times.

In an interview with WISH-TV in Indianapolis, she said that most people don't realize that Michael stayed in touch with her or about moments such as when Jackson called her a couple of years ago on Mother's Day just to say that he had been thinking of her.

During Jackson's memorial yesterday, Usher sang "Gone Too Soon," a song which Jackson recorded in memory of Ryan White on the 'Dangerous' CD.
