This is for the singer Who has helped me through my life

The sadness, disappointments, happiness and strife  

His voice is as sweet as honey And as soft as deepest, darkest velvet.

With the voice of an angel he sings At this sound bells in heaven must ring  

His lyrics have made me... laugh and cry Sing and dance  

Speaking of righteousness Love, faith and truth

All of which helped carry me Through childhood and my youth  

I have seen him perform many times on stage And each time I feel excitement

I am moved I am crying, singing, dancing...  

And straining to see The wonder that is on the stage

Performing just for me!

I have loved and admired this man Since I was three

He makes the world a nicer place to be

I hope he will keep on singing (forever) For people just like me
