The Mike We Like Remixes
On June 6th, Mellotone Recordings released 'The Mike We Like Remixes' album, produced by Square. Expect to hear a collection of the very best Michael Jackson classics carefully arranged over the soulful melodic beats of Square. Tracks include; Butterflies, Rock With You, Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, Billie Jean and more. Interludes include clips from an exclusive interview with the legendary Quincy Jones as he shares some of his thoughts on good profound music and the success of the undisputed 'King of Pop.'
"The Mike we like...", Squares rendition of MJ classics, his humble offering to a childhood idol, a vision of a pre-neverland MJ. Square blends his thumpin rich southern soulful sounds with some of Mikes unforgettable songs and creates a memorable masterpiece. 16 tracks in total, includes the Quincy's corner interludes which has Quincy Jones reminiscing about classic MJ anecdotes over Square's musical creations. Squares vision takes us back to the Mike we love, the Mike we remember,The Mike We Like... Square has been releasing records for a minute now. First doing a couple remix's for Counterflow releases Seven Star "Avatar Remix" and Induce's "Untitled Remix". After establishing his own label, Mellotone released Square's first record entitled "Bob James Boogie" F/ Fantab. The record sold out in 2 weeks. He produced 2 songs on the critically acclaimed Dave Ghetto "LoveLife?" album. And his last release Square presents: Tanz "Ladies Night" b/w Hasannah "Sweet Rememdy". That's enough for you to reference to. The soul is there. This CD is a Limited Edition release, so don't sleep.
