4-07-09) Hundreds of MJ fans in Johannesburg, South Africa gathered in Nelson Mandela Square to moonwalk and pay tribute to the King of Pop. The fan event drew a very diverse crowd that included office workers on their break, school children on holiday and Jackson impersonators wearing red satin jackets and fedoras.

Fans copied Jackson's famous dance moves to songs like "Billie Jean" and "Smooth Criminal." Even a power outage during "Black or White" did not stop the singing and dancing. Siviwe Mazwana, 28, said:

Jackson is "the king and will always be the king!"
