Who Is Romonica Harris?
Here are some Tid Bits....
You May Have Heard of Romonica Harris Throughout The Jackson Community
* In Feb 2004, Ms Harris was awarded a beautiful honor signed
by Ms Rosa Parks for her "Teaching Tolerance". With
this prestigious award, her name was placed on the "Wall
of Tolerance", in the New Civil Rights Memorial center
in Montgomery Alabama. The 6 graders from her school
had a recent field trip there and were very moved and
excited to see her name .

* In Feb of this year, she was given a Certificate of
Appreciation From The National Children's Advocacy
Center in recognition for her outstanding support of
the Circle Project(an organization through her school
designed to help families and children who are in
need). Ms Harris is on the Board of Directors as an advisor.
she has affiliations with Civil Rights Leaders as well
as the NAACP.
She was personally invited to attend the
opening of President Bill Clinton's Library. Ms Harris keeps in
contact with him through his Foundation.
