On Tuesday, Clear Channel is sponsoring a upcoming concert for Michael Jackson in Detroit.
Michael Jackson got his early start in Detroit in 1969 at Motown, recording albums at Hitsville USA.
The musical tribute to Michael Jackson is scheduled at Chene Park, former home of the Motown label.
The Detroit News announced that the concert is free and will include performances by Serieux & Friends, HotSauce, Asiid and Velocity. Vigil’s celebrating his life has been held nightly in front of Hitsville USA on W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit. An estimated 2,500 people took part at last night’s gathering at the Motown Historic Museum.
