In 2007, more than 1,500 inmates who devote their time in detention to dancing choreography, performed Michael Jackson’s well known song “Thriller.”
A video of their dance scored 53 million views on YouTube and was included in a top five viral videos of the year made by TIME, The Huffington Post reports.
The prisoners repeated the dance in 2010, when Jackson’s choreographer and two other dancers came to Cebu to teach more than 1,000 prisoners how to dance for “This Is It.”
