NAVI is so dedicated to being a Michael Jackson tribute act and impersonator he has even had plastic surgery to “fine tune” his image.
But it was this commitment that led to Navi becoming an official body double for Michael Jackson and even invited to spend time with the king of pop at his famous home, Neverland.
Between 1992 and 2009 Navi was hand-picked to work for Michael Jackson coming out of hotels as a decoy, and as a body double for the planned This Is It concerts in London.
“What can I say - meeting Michael was surreal,” Navi said.
“Even by the eighth or ninth time it always was special - to speak to him on the phone and hear him tell me he was excited about the birthday party I would be performing at.
“Those memories will forever inspire me.”
Navi will bring his latest show, King of Pop The Legend Continues, to the Princes Theatre on November 1 at 7.30pm.
