According to English media reports the signature hat worn by pop legend Michael Jackson, when he sang ‘Billie Jean’ on the most-watched TV special of all time, is put up for auction by his close friend David Gest.
The black fedora is among 17 items included at the auction in Britain of the late star’s mementos.
The iconic item was worn at the 30th anniversary special concert held in New York in 2001 which was watched by 450 million TV viewers worldwide. The concert was his last biggest show before his death in 2009.
The hat, which also features Jackson’s signature, has a guide price of £2,000-£3,000.
