Dancers will contort, swing, writhe and mime to the music of the King of Pop this summer.
Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour,” one of the top 10 highest-grossing tours from last year, will continue its successful run. Lincoln’s Pinnacle Bank Arena will host two performances on June 24 and 25.
The show features 25 different numbers and dozens of Jackson’s songs with choreography based on the late singer’s life, style and music.
A second Cirque du Soleil show, “ONE,” runs in Las Vegas and features Jackson’s music as well as a “hologram” illusion of Jackson performing.
Tickets, $45 to $150, go on sale April 24 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena box office, Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster retail locations or by phone at 800-745-3000.
