A Love Letter to Katherine Jackson & Family by Charlene
You don’t know me. I’m only one of many who grew up listening to your talented family perform their wonderful music for the world.
We watched Michael grow up before our eyes, a shining star, a special young man from the very beginning. He had a light that shone from deep within, we could all see it in those big brown eyes and the moves that looked as natural to him as breathing, and we could hear it in that beautiful clear angelic voice of his. The soulful sound of a boy who was wise beyond his years with a heart that stayed forever young. We grew to love Michael for all the sweet and beautiful things about him. Things that could only be instilled by a loving mother and family.
We felt the soul and energy he put into every single song and performance. He taught us how to feel the music! As he grew, we realized his creativity had no limits. He was divinely driven to create some of the most upbeat and inspiring music we had ever heard. And his live performances were unmatched, flawless, and always amazing! Michael has brought joy to millions through his music, his dance, his genuine goodness, his playfulness, and his pure sweet love. He has inspired us with his gift, his faith, his humility, his integrity, his strength, his courage and his passion!
We had much to learn from him (and still do!) He showed us by his example the kind of people we should strive to be. He continually nudged us just past our comfort zones to get our attention and make us think about our own lives, the judgements we make of others, and how we’re using our minds and talents to better the world or destroy it. His humanitarian work has been a shining example of his selflessness and the empathy he had in his heart for all children and people who suffered.
Michael Joseph Jackson has changed hearts and lives all around the world! You can be proud of him for the way he lived his life, always focusing on LOVE and kindness above all else. He was truly one of God’s special angels here on earth and we were blessed beyond belief to have known such a man in our lifetime. He will continue to make an impact on the world far into the future.
My LOVE goes out to you, Katherine, and the entire Jackson family. I can only imagine the enormity of your loss. Please know that you are being held in prayer & love by people all around the world - people of all races and religions. Imagine that! May it be a source of comfort to know that Michael has brought much of the world together as one in his honor.
