Guardianship Hearing Postponed Again

Court officials confirmed that a guardianship hearing for Michael Jackson’s 3 children has been postponed again until August 3.

“I can tell you that we have had our conference call, and the result is that Monday’s hearing will not be happening,” said L. Londell McMillan, a lawyer representing Katherine Jackson, Mr. Jackson’s mother.

Katherine Jackson, in the meantime, will remain the temporary guardian of her son’s children. They are staying at the Jackson family home.

Debbie Rowe, Michael’s ex-wife and mother of his two oldest children, so far has not filed for custody of the children. She has agreed to previous delays in the guardianship case.

Katherine Jackson’s attorney said last week that his client and Rowe were trying to reach an amicable settlement to the case.
