The LCO Casino Lodge & Convention Center awarded $1.5 million to jackpot winner Tami DeMarr of Hayward on Friday, Nov. 30.
According to DeMarr, she had inserted a $20 bill and played the first spin when the jackpot hit for $1,527,006.18 on the newly-released Wide Area Progressive Michael Jackson slot machine. The machine had only been on the floor for 17 days.
