Lawyers for Michael Jackson‘s mother are planning to call Diana Ross, director Spike Lee and singer Lisa Marie Presley to the witness stand as they prepare to battle concert giants AEG Live over the King of Pop’s death.
Katherine Jackson filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the promoters behind the Thriller hitmaker’s doomed This Is It comeback gigs in a bid to have them held responsible for his passing.
The Jackson family matriarch claimed they were negligent in ignoring life-threatening health concerns and accusing them of hiring Conrad Murray, the medic who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for causing the superstar’s death in 2009.
