Today In Michael Jackson History (May 9)

1983 - Michael Jackson’s single “Beat It” was certified Gold by the RIAA.

1986 - Michael with Emmanuel Lewis & aides stay at the Hemsley Palace Hotel.

2003 - Michael files a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court against Universal Music Group. The suit claimed that the company owed him royalties for the re-release of songs Jackson had made in the 1970s.

    MJ is the king. Every time i listen to his songs i feel like he is still alive. Definitely one of the biggest pop music stars ever been born!
