Michael Jackson’s oldest son was scheduled to fly to Spain for a television appearance, but had to cancel upon learning of his sister’s shocking news.
The eldest son of the late King of Pop was set to participate on the popular game show “Wetten, Dass…?” (Wanna Bet?) but upon learning of his sister’s hospitalization, the 16-year-old aspiring entertainer opted out.
According to People magazine, Prince Michael was supposed to have filled in for Paris, 15, who was originally booked on the show’s summer edition - filmed in Mallorca, Spain.
A spokeswoman for the German television station ZDF told People that they had been in contact with Prince Michael Jackson’s team, and were able to confirm his trip to Spain would not happen as planned.
“Under these circumstances, we perfectly understand that Prince Michael prefers to stay close to his family,” the spokeswoman said. “We wish Paris the strength and the power to recover soon.”
