It was a night for royalty in Las Vegas. (Photos Below)
Prince Michael Jackson, son of late pop superstar Michael Jackson, escorted Remi Alfalah, a Kuwaiti princess, to the Saturday night premiere of Michael Jackson ONE, the Cirque du Soleil tribute show inspired by his father.
The young couple met at their private school in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Prince Michael, 16, and his date were joined by most of the Jackson family.
Matriarch Katherine was there as well as Michael Jackson’s youngest child, Prince Michael II, 11, who goes by “Blanket.” Paris, 15, was not at the premiere. She had been admitted to a hospital in June.
“She’s going to be OK,” Michael’s brother Jackie Jackson said at the event, according to an Associated Press report. “She’s getting better.”
The celebration was a break for the Jacksons, who faced a week of emotional courtroom testimony in the case of a wrongful-death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG Live, which the family claims hired Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of involuntary manslaughter for Michael Jackson’s 2009 death.
