Would-be Zombies are invited to climb out of their coffins and get training for a Thriller event in Stroud on Saturday October 26.
All are welcome to get involved in Thrill The World which will raise funds for five different charities.
“TTW is a global event where zombies come together at the same time to dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance to in a world record attempt, have fun and raise money for charity,” said event manager Looby Hughes.
She is hoping that people will join her at Lansdown Hall for the event will also include a spooky disco, competitions, raffle and game, ahead of the record breaking dance event at 9pm.
“To prepare we have to learn the dance and we are helping everyone do that by teaching them the dance moves at Stratford Park Leisure on Wednesday 11 September at 8pm,” said Looby, who has joined forces with friends Claire Beard, Annette Fry Blythe, Louise Hobbs, Hatty Davis and Michelle Ford for the event.
It will raise funds for a trek in the Transylvanian Alps in Romania next year for five charities; Alzheimers, Colbolt Cancer research, Children’s Stroke, James Hopkins and Winston’s Wish.
