NATICK, Mass. (WHDH) -
Police arrested a man accused of stealing thousands of dollars from people claiming to be related to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
According to police reports, Andre Vann gets people to give him money for his business ventures by telling them he’s Gepetto Jackson, Jermaine Jackson’s secret son and Michael Jackson’s nephew.
7News investigative reporter Hank Phillippi Ryan looked into Vann’s alleged activity in February. Vann was accused of taking money people had given him in Natick and in other Massachusetts communities.
Natick police posted a captured poster saying he was arrested in Texas. Hank’s team talked with the police and they said Vann is wanted in several states as well.
