MJ ‘Immortal World Tour’ headed to Detroit this summer

DETROIT, MI — Michael Jackson’s estate and Cirque du Soleil announced Monday plans for two unique shows at The Palace of Auburn Hills this summer.

The Immortal World Tour, serving as a tribute to Jackson, will take place July 1-2 at the venue; tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.

Cirque Club members have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets online at
www.cirqueclub.com. Ticket prices range from $50 to $150 each.

General public tickets can be purchased starting Friday at cirquedusoleil.com/MichaelJackson, Ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Created by Cirque du Soleil and directed by Jamie King, The Immortal World Tour features 49 international dancers, musicians, and acrobats.

It is presented in a rock concert format that “combines the excitement and innovation of Michael Jackson’s music and choreography with Cirque du Soleil’s unparalleled creativity,” according to a press release.
