They shared where they were when they first heard of MJ’s passing (in 2009), the connection between MJ and Prince and which artist has the potential to be the “next Michael Jackson.” (Clover and I choose Beyoncé, while our guest, Charlie Murphy, goes with Justin Bieber.)
Comedian and actor Charlie Murphy called in to speak on the memorable “True Hollywood Stories: Prince” skit, off Dave Chappelle’s “Chappelle’s Show.” “That tells me that he’s that crazy! He doesnt take himself too seriously. If you can’t laugh at yourself, you don’t deserve to laugh at anybody else,” Charlie Murphy says when he saw that Prince used a photo of the skit as his single artwork.
