Dear fans,
After much struggle, I will need to stop running my website (as well as my facebook page), for a while. I hope to be back by August 29th but I cannot be sure. I thank you for visiting MJ-Upbeat. I hope I’ve made a difference in the MJ Community. I look forward to being back as soon as I’m able.
Please help if you can via the donation button. Only a handful of fans have been able to help. I would like to thank those fans because without their help, this website would’ve been shut down many months ago, unfortunately, these select few fans cannot sustain me considering how desperate my financial situation is.
I’ve come to the point that I need to sell my MJ collection, but I will need to do it in bulk. Perhaps someone would like to make an offer for my entire collection. There are many items from the past 11 years of working within the MJ community. I hate to part with the Birthday jacket and a few other personal items from when I saw Michael and worked at his party, but I will need to make that sacrifice. Please feel free to make an offer after seeing everything I have. Some items were given to me, some I bought, some were gifts in return for gifts etc.
Note: I have both the new and older version of Michael’s Moonwalk book. I have both books written by Katherine Jackson before and after Michael’s passing. I have a book written by Corretta Scott King. All 3 of Adrian Grant’s MJ Documentary books, (one of which was signed by him), I have the Opus in mint condition with glove still in box, many unopened items as well. & Much more.

You will be missed but I totally understand. Your sacrifices, I’m sure have been many. I wish I had the financial means to help….but I am unable. The saddest of all, is, you having to sell your collection. That, in itself, echoes your financial hardship. May your situation improve quickly. Thank you, God bless and you did an excellent job. Nora, I would ask $250. I honestly paid $600 for it from MJFC Italy. I think I paid so much because it was sent from Luigi who runs the site. At the time it wasn’t being sold here yet so he sold me one. It AWESOME. It’s in absolute mint condition only taken out of the box twice so I could photograph it for my archives. The only problem is it’s SO heavy. I need my husband to help me lift it. The shipping would be insane. That’s the only problem I have because I cannot pay for any shipping for anything. The buyer needs to do it because I just don’t have the money. This book is amazing though. You’d be in awe if you saw it in person. Exquisite book. <3

Question, without prying I hope, are you in a financial situation because of lack of funding for the website or is it other issues as well? How many people would you need to commit to a monthly donation? How much does it cost to run this website? Are you the only person in charge, or are there others? If you leave and the website goes … where is all the data stored and will you have access to it if and when you come back? I too collect Michael Jackson “Gold” is what we call it, mostly vintage. I’ll check out your link and I sure hope every thing will be ok.
Well basically I’ve gotten behind in everything except the website because I never want to lose it, but now I’m too much in debt and need help. I’m over $8,000 short of my rent. This is why I’m reaching out for help. <3 I would like to avoid selling my collection for a short bit to see if somehow I can do this without parting with something I love so much. I will let you know if I’m going to sell though. <3 Thanks for inquiring.
