The BRIT Awards 2015 are almost here and we can’t wait!

There will be performances from Madonna and Sam Smith and it will be hosted by the Geordie twosome, Ant and Dec.

Awards shows provide one of the biggest platforms for any artist to show us what they’ve got and over the years the BRITs have attracted some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Unsurprisingly they have provided us with some truly memorable moments.

From a tear-jerking, career-changing belter from Adele to a jaw-dropping theatrical spectacle from the one and only Michael Jackson, the show has given us some of the most incredible performances in music history.

Michael Jackson ensured his place in BRITs history with a beautiful performance of Earth Song.

As if that wasn’t enough, the moment became an all-time iconic great when Jarvis Cocker took to the stage.

The Pulp frontman stunned viewers with his bizarre protest.
