.
We gotta protect ourselves right? There’s a risk by taking in refugees and we sure don’t wanna take a chance.
.
Not all refugees are a threat but better to be safe than sorry. Our lives are much more important than theirs.
.
.
We’re so blessed to have been born in a safe place. Tough luck on them right?
.
Almost certainly these refugees will die but that’s not our problem. We were put here on earth to protect ourselves. That’s surely the way God has taught us to be.
.
Isis has already won this war if they’ve become the reason we turn our backs on each other because of fear.
.
I wonder how these Syrian children will die. Will they be decapitated? Maybe they’ll be forced to watch as their mom or dad is decapitated. But that’s not our problem.
.
.
The tragedies in Paris, New York and all across the world has given us every reason to turn our backs. Of course we’re scared. We don’t want this to happen to us or to our families, but there are no guarantees on anything anymore and though we want to protect ourselves, why are we more important than them? They’re sure to face the exact death and torture that we’re running from right now. That death is a guarantee for them.
.
I’d rather die helping another human being in need than to live knowing my fear has caused death to innocent children.
.
Isis has already recruited sleeper cells and lone wolves right here in the USA. This is almost a certainty. (Despite what the government says). They’re recruiting people all across the world via the Internet. We’re all in danger no matter how much we’d like to think differently. This is a time to follow what God has taught us. He taught us to love one another and to help one another.
.
If we help the needy, then we’re doing God’s will, and if we’re doing what God wants then we’re doing what’s right.
.
.
As hard as I try, I just can’t see God embracing our decision to reject the refugees who so desperately need our help.
.
I know I’ll be slammed for my opinion but I really don’t care. I understand we’re all afraid of what will happen next but the children of Syria don’t deserve us to turn our backs on them. They already see this world as a heartless and scary place, I don’t want to be part of the reason they’ve lost hope and faith in mankind.
.
I especially don’t want to be the reason they end up dead.
.
.
Thanks for listening.

I agree to a point sis, but ONLY woman an children till they figure out a better way to vet them.Men unfortunately seem to be where the threat is the greatest. Remember the Boston bombers were both men….
It should only be temporary too until their homeland is once again safe. America is only their shelter I can’t imagine them wanting it to be their home..
Love you sis <3
I agree Cindy. Very much so. I hate to compromise on who lives and who dies but if it would mean that the children of Syria can be spared, then I think we should do it.
Of course we should help all who need help! It’s what Michael was about his entire life. L.O.V.E “Make Love your weapon to overcome any evil.” (MJ)
The children, their mothers and their fathers, they all run from the same thing we fear. They are just another part of us. We should never ever confuse refugees with terrorists!
Maybe a terrorist sneaks in along side the refugees once in a while, it’s not even 0.5 %, most are already here and have grown up in the West easy to recruit for the lack of love within our society. The rest is funded, they don’t need to make a difficult journey like the refugees, they travel ‘in style’ with false passports and everything. (IS generates 300 million income a year, they can afford it.)
The refugees don’t just flee the terrorists, they also flee the Americans and their allies, who’ve been bombing the middle east to bits for decades now. At least half a million innocent children have already died by ‘our’ weapons. Even schools and hospitals have been bombed. And the terrorists they were after? They only grew stronger.
To quote one of Michael’s heroes Martin Luther King Jr.: “Darkness can not drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hatred can not drive out hatred, only love can do that.”
I for one can not ignore MJ’s message after living it for 40+ years and we’re in this together. We’re all family. He showed us how to love and help in many ways. Michael called us his Soldiers of Love. We must bring salvation back . We have to bring Love back into the world. Love is strong it only cares for joyful giving.
“Love transcends international boundaries and heals the wounds of hatred, racial, prejudice, bigotry and ignorance. It is the ULTIMATE TRUTH at the heart of all creation.” (MJ)
NOW is the time to act upon all Michael has taught us.
““Let us dream of tomorrow where we can truly love from the soul, and know love as the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation.” (MJ)
Tomorrow is here, it’s TODAY
Do not fear. “There’s a place in your heart and I know that it is love.” What ever happens keep the faith, keeping the faith means never giving up on love. The people in this world who mean well are still a huge majority. There’s nothing that can’t be done if we raise our voice as one. Whatever happens Keep the love in your heart and he’ll be there. Remember there’s a piece of Michael in ALL of us. It’s Forever and Unbreakable. “The power is in believing so give yourself a chance.”
L.O.V.E
That was beautifully said my friend. So very true. Every word! I honestly don’t understand how people think nothing of turning away a fellow person in need. I know people are afraid but I know in my heart that God 1000 % would want us to help one another especially now! This is a test. God is watching to see what we choose.
