Katherine Jackson is suing promoters behind the King of Pop’s This Is It comeback gigs, claiming they were negligent in ignoring life-threatening health concerns.
Now the 82-year-old family matriarch has filed a motion asking the judge presiding over the wrongful death case to ban evidence about the conception of Jackson’s kids, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket.
Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe is believed to be mother of his son Prince Michael and daughter Paris, while the star claimed Blanket was born via a surrogate mother.
In legal documents obtained by Tmz.com, Katherine, the kids’ co-guardian, argues the jury doesn’t need to hear about her grandchildren’s biological parentage.
Katherine also wants the judge to bar any mention of the child molestation allegations the superstar fought before his death, as well as mention of his siblings’ financial problems.
A judge has not yet ruled on the motions. Katherine goes to trial on 2 April (13) over allegations AEG Live executives negligently hired and supervised Conrad Murray, the doctor who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for causing the superstar’s death in 2009.
