The Black Eyed Peas star wanted to learn how to do the butt-bouncing dance properly so he got someone to show him how to shake his derrière in the right way.
He also doesn’t think Miley Cyrus’ sexually explicit twerking routine with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) has damaged the popularity of the craze.
When asked if Miley’s VMAs display had destroyed the dance phenomenon, he replied: “What are you talking about, man? I had twerking lessons yesterday.”
