On this day in 1983 the taping of the Motown 25 TV special took place. Including performances by Stevie Wonder, the Supremes and Marvin Gaye, but one of the biggest highlights that night was Michael Jackson performed his iconic moonwalk.
The night was symbolic for Michael and the Jacksons. It’s a progression that begins with Michael reuniting with his brothers for a medley of Jackson 5 hits.
