Michael Jackson Still Dominates Charts

There have been 2.3 million CD’s of Michael’s music sold since he passed away three weeks ago. Grieving fans and those who just want to hear the music again have been snapping up the albums, including “Thriller” and “Number Ones.”

1.1 million copies of Michael’s albums were sold last week, according to sales figures from Nielsen SoundScan. This is a 37 percent jump from the prior week. “Number Ones” remains the top-selling CD in the US for the third straight week with 349,000 copies sold.
